Dungeon & Dragons Video Game Maker Cancels 5 Unannounced Games

To everyone's surprise, Dungeons & Dragons video game maker Wizards of the Coast has shockingly canceled at least five of its upcoming new gaming projects.

A report from Bloomberg says the company seems to be on a mission to scale back on the projects soon after entering the year 2023.

Wizards of the Coast has been trying to make an indent in the gaming industry have got mixed reactions to date with its releases.

Company’s 2021 Dungeon & Dragon – Dark Alliance failed to impact the players with high hopes for it.

Baldur’s Gate 3, a dragon game, is slated to be released this year, and early versions of the game have received a positive response from the players.

The company said it is re-vamping its gaming portfolio so that future games can accurately represent the company’s vision.

The company laid off 15 employees, and the company did mention that the employees are free to apply for any other role in the company.

Cancellations of these projects not only affect the company’s future independent gaming studios working on games for it.
