It was confirmed that Elden Ring is the best-selling game of 2022 thus far and it has even been predicted that it will outsell Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
Elden Ring had one of the biggest game launches on YouTube by attaining 3.4 billion views in the first 60 days of its release.
Nearly 3.5 billion views in just two months is a major feat and go to show a lot of hunger for the notoriously difficult RPG.
Players clearly can’t get enough of the game’s bosses either, with the most popular boss video upload being Margit, The Fell Omen, and the most popular character class video being the game’s Samurai class.
Speaking of creators, the figures from YouTube Gaming also give a nod to some of the Elden Ring community’s notable content creators by awarding them with “Elden Lord Awards”.
It’s clear that Elden Ring is becoming more than a game, with such huge figures in terms of viewers and sales regularly popping up to smash new records.
