Fulqrum Publishing, Slipgate Ironworks, and 2B Games unveiled Warpaws, a real-time strategy game battling dogs and cats with WWII-inspired weapons.
In the first quarter of 2023, Warpaws will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
In the trailer, a drill sergeant named Dobermann teaches and motivates his cadets in the style of Full Metal Jacket, but he does it with humor and a sense of fun.
This time, the argument is played out on a real battlefield, with players controlling units and regiments of either cats or dogs to wipe out the other species colorfully and excitingly completely.
Players can use spies, footmen with bazookas, gunners, engineers, and pyros in battles on the land, sea, and air.
WarPaws doesn't have straight upgrade paths. Instead, it has different units with different strengths and weaknesses, and players must use strategy and skill to win.
Maps also have environments that can be destroyed, which players can use in many ways to their advantage. The game will also have multiplayer modes, such as co-op, PvP skirmishes, and King of the Hill.
