Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action-adventure video game developed by RockSteady Studios & published by Warner Bros. It is the fifth instalment in the Batman Arkham series.
Now the game has recently been rated by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority, revealing a slew of its dark gameplay. Well, the title has received a mature rating due to its violent elements, so in that sense, the upcoming title will likely be uncensored.
According to the rating, the title’s main villains are the robots and aliens, with one member of the Suicide Squad taking care of the ethereal world treat in place of the heroes. The city will have different areas and will have its boss; protecting the boss will help the villains to move forward in the story.
It looks like Warner Bros is pushing the developers to include the violent behaviour of the group of villains in this new game. The game will have a city habitat in which corpses are scattered everywhere, and the city space is decorated with the limbs of those corpses.
Well, just in the usual Suicide Squad Style, the game also includes dark humour in seemingly malformed moments, and as per the IMDA, there’s a scene in the game which features a finger being served and then a joke being made about the served finger.

Although this isn’t the only dark moment, there are darker gameplay moments that should be viewed with caution. As I mentioned above, the game has quite a degree of violence in it which is pretty rarely seen uncensored in video games.
For reference, there’s a moment in which where a character has a blade into his neck and one with blood pouring out of his neck, so there are many heart-wrenching moments like these in the game.
Furthermore, the games also include foul language with swear words. Anyway, it’s not a major concern if you put it that way, as the game already has a good amount of violence in it.
Considering all this, Suicide Squad’s’ mature 18+ makes sure that the only appropriate audience plays it, but then looking at its franchise popularity, fans will jump the gun when it launches irrespective of the rating.
However, there are not many details available about the upcoming Suicide Squad kill the Justice League game; despite all this, the fans are pretty hyped up for it, and some of it has to do with Batman Arkham as well.
As per the rumours, it looks like the title will be getting a live service mechanism that will require continuous internet connectivity and as per a recent leak, the game is set to feature a battle pass.
Suicide Squad: Kill the justice League will release on May 26th 2023, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Series S and PC.
