Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, is an upcoming Mecha (Machines) based vehicle combat video game developed by FromSoftware & published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
This is the sixth installment in the franchise after Armoured Core: Verdict. Now what’s interesting is that the video game installation is already on version 2.1.0.1 on the Xbox though the game has not been released on Xbox yet.
Now such a high version for a pre-released game is surprising as the Armored Core V: Fires of Rubicon does not have a release date yet, although, as per fans, this might indicate that FromSoftware is eyeing a 2023 release date.
This comes from the Okami Games, which reported this strange pre-installed version of the video game on Twitter.

As per the report, this may indicate that the game will release soon, looking at how far ahead its version is. However, little is known about the Armored Core V: Fires of Rubicon, as everything is still under wraps.
In December last year, FromSoftware officially unveiled the new vehicle combat game at the Game Awards with a CGI-based trailer reveal.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’s lead game designer, i.e., Masaru Yamamura, has been named the game director.
Though the studio expert Hidetaka Miyazaki was the game director when the game was still in development, and he also helped in interpreting the game concept!
But as we know, the Elder Ring creator Hidetaka Miyazaki has passed on the control to Masaru Yamamura, giving him full control.
Therefore, this upcoming title will be the first title after Dark Soul 2 not to have Miyazaki as a director!
According to the president of the FromSoftware, the Fires of Rubicon will not be SciFi souls-like even though Boss battles are the highlight of the video game.
Armored Core VI: will be on Ribucon planet, which is on the edge of destruction as humanity found an energy source and tried to mine it and thus immersing the planet in the fire.
The title takes place after 50 years of the event, and the humans rediscover the energy and start to mine it again to take control of it and increase the planet’s capabilities.
The players will have control over an independent mercenary on Rubicon planet wearing the armored coat robot unit and will take on the work in Rubicon, whether it’s a mining corporation or to stop the resisting groups that are trying to stop from as the battles for power goes on.
Recently, the art of the Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon was leaked on the Microsoft Store and the South Korean rating. Apart from the tentative release date, nothing is known about the game yet.
