God of War Ragnarok Patch 04.01 Bring Bugs Fixes & Game Improvements

God of War Ragnarok is an action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The God of War: Ragnarok is the ninth installment in the franchise.

Now the Developers have pushed out a new update for the video game that brings bug fixes and gameplay improvements to the game.

Well, this patch majorly focuses on fixing issues related to the New Game Plus (A new mode available in some games after players have completed the game at least once).

The GOW: Ragnarok received its New Game Plus just a few days ago. The devs have also released complete Patch notes, which highlight the fixes coming up in this update.

Patch 04.01 rectifies a bug that occurred in the God Of War Ragnarok”s New Game Plus equipment, and the players will now be able to upgrade Darkdale Waist Guard & Risen Snow Armour after level 9 without any hiccups!

As for the quests, there was a bug that prevented players from getting the quest’s resources after finishing them has now been fixed.

Developers have also fixed a bug that prevented the Ready for Commitment trophy from unlocking; players can easily get the trophy when they upgrade their NG+ armor to level 9 or above.

There was another bug that was holding off players from getting the Dragon Slayer trophy which has now been fixed.

Now the players can get the trophy without needing to pursue the Dragon Scale armor during the first walkthrough.

Now the players who earned these resources will retrospect to gain them in New Game Plus. These items include sovereign Coals Essence Hel and Lindwyrm Scales.

If you think this was it, well, no, as a rare bug that caused the game to crash has also been fixed, and now players will be able to load certain files and not crash,

Furthermore, players can obtain the Phalanx trophy easily now, thanks to the bug fix now, which caused them to craft every other shield before level 9+ shield to earn it.

Moreover, players who received the lost item’s chest in the ship, players will need to restart the game to get the trophy. The players who fulfilled the requirements between the original New Game Plus patch and this patch will get the trophies.

At last, developers with this update have also fixed a bug related to UX/UI, a bug that caused a game to crash, which now has been fixed.

Well, these were all the changes & fixes in this patch 04.01, and it is available to download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
