The 2005’s Classic Need For Speed: Most Wanted is one of the most famous racing video games in all of this genre’s history, and it wouldn’t be fair to talk about this genre and not mention the title. The commercial & critical success the title achieved.
Whether it’s Graphics, sound, police system, maps & more, everything was loved by the fans & critics, which is massive, especially for a racing title. Also, the developer EA Games is credited by many for giving defining racing titles.
The Need For Speed: Most Wanted became a huge success all over the globe, having sold over 16 million copies worldwide. Thus becoming the best-selling title of the franchise and breaking several other records as well
Fast forward to 2012, EA Games & Criterion Games developed Need For Speed Reboot, which in contrast, had no story, so it was criticized for being a single-player mode by critics; that being said, the game did get a positive reception overall.
