Redfall is an open-world first-person shooting game with a story that takes place in Redfall town, Massechuttes, and a selection of Four characters to look after against the vampires & other human enemies as well. The game will have both single & co-op modes.

The AAA title is developed by Arkane Austin and published by Bethesda Softworks (which was acquired by Microsoft).

Anyway, coming back to the leak, the Redfall price leak comes from the billbinkun, who has a good record when it comes to PlayStation Plus Games and Epic Games store giveaways.

Well. as per billbikun. Redfall new, hefty pricing for the European region is 79.99 Euros, which translates to $69.99 for the U.S.

It was leaked that the upcoming title from Microsoft will also have a Deluxe Edition as well which is similar to other AAA titles which have multiple editions. The Deluxe Edition of Redfall will cost 29,99 Euros extra for the Xbox Series X version, as per billbikun.

It is not known what the Deluxe Edition of the Redfall contains but going by other similar Co’ops FPS; it could very well have more Skins & Weapons.

As we always say, take every leak with a pinch of salt; the same goes for this one as well. However, this price hike shouldn’t come as a surprise since Mircosoft announced last year that it will be increasing the price of its first-party games by $10, so 59.99 to 69.99 dollars.

One more reason for increased pricing could be that taxes are higher in European countries.

Microsoft Spokesperson, while speaking to IGN, mentioned that our pricing reflects the content, scale, and technical complexity of these titles and continued saying, as with all the games developed by the Xbox team, the games will also be available with the Xbox Game Pass on the same day.

With that being said, Microsoft is not the first company to increase its pricing for the games. Companies such as Sony, Ubisoft, and take two interactive have already announced the price hike.

The hefty pricing of the much anticipated Redfall from Microsoft has certainly worried its fans, thus raising questions about all this on various forums.

As we learned above that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass, which is a relief to the players who already have an active Xbox Game Pass as they will not have to spend money to buy the game.

The AAA title Redfall has had its fair share of delays; the game was meant to release in the summer of 2022, then it got delayed, and then it was said to release in early 2023, which was again delayed internally. The game was delayed by six weeks, and the goalposts were moved without public acknowledgment!

With all of this, it is already known that both Redfall and Starfield are set for the summer 2023 launch. Now, as for the latest rumor, which comes from a Twitter user named eXtas1s, who had also previously leaked the Project Overdose, there is no confirmation yet, though! The game could launch in the first week of May, which is in line with the previous rumors.

Well, anyway, we’re sure to learn more details about the upcoming AAA title from Microsoft in its Xbox Developer Direct tomorrow.
