Everything You Need To Know About Doomsday Heist

Is The Doomsday Heist Worth It In 2022?

When GTA Online was first released, the Doomsday Heist was the most profitable method of making money. One of the first GTA Online heists that two players could complete meant a bigger payout for the players.

Since the release of Diamond Casino Heist and Cayo Perico Heist, players have earned even greater payouts. This is especially true during event weeks when Diamonds or Panther Statues are added.

However, we still recommend running the Doomsday Heist in 2022. From start to finish, it is a fun heist, and you can earn a decent amount of money when playing two-player and on the hardest difficulty.

In addition to earning bonuses from Special Challenge Awards, the Doomsday Heist offers plenty of reasons to run, even if you don’t do it as often as Cayo Perico.

The Doomsday Heist: How To Get Started?

Unlike most other heists, starting the Doomsday Heist is a bit different. To play, players need a facility they buy from Maze Bank.

If none of your friends or allies already own a facility, you’ll have to shell out $1.25 million to get one, but you’ll earn it back from a successful heist.

As soon as a player hosts the Doomsday Heist, the setup missions will begin, and they will roam free to collect the tools they need. Some setup missions eat into the host’s budget, so keep that in mind.

This is where the true heist story begins. Each mission in Doomsday Heist is broken down into parts, which are story-based missions.

You will go through 12 hours of content during Doomsday Heist, with Act 1 having you steal ambulances to access IAA bases to target data.

In Act 2, there are hard drive collections, underwater trips in submarine cars, and aerial missions. There are times when the act can be challenging, and there are other times when it can be easy.

In Act 3, you have the payday mission, which is difficult both at the beginning and end. In the beginning, some juggernauts can cause issues, so use whatever you have at them.

By the end of the mission, players will be flying bombers, and surviving in the air can be challenging.

Payout Split For Doomsday Heist In GTA Online

Now we know the amount of money we could make from the GTA Online Doomsday Heist. But we must consider how to split the money fairly with other players.

The person who pays for the setup cost is the host, so if we split the money evenly, it is fair. Redditor RDS08 calculates the payout splits based on whether a game has two, three, or four players.

These seem like fair splits, so there’s no excuse for being greedy! Below you will find a breakdown of everything by Act and by player.
