Keep in mind that the drop rate of Memories in FATEs is very low even after getting updated in various patches, which makes it a non-viable option to gain memories. Rather, it is actually better to earn these Memories through Alliance Raids.
Starting with the Haunting Memories of Dying, these can be earned with the help of the Shadow of Mhach raids, including raids like the Weeping City of Mhach, the Void Ark, and Dun Scaith, out of which the Void Ark is the fastest to complete.
On the other hand, for Vexatious Memories of Dying, you have to head back to the Ivalice raids from Stormblood: The Royal City of Rabanastre, The Orbonne Monastery, The Ridorana, and Lighthouse, out of which the fastest is Rabanastre.
